COURSE OVERVIEW
Learn the art of music production in The Fundamentals of Logic Pro! This 10-lesson hands-on program teaches beginner and intermediate producers how to navigate Logic Pro while developing the creative and technical skills needed to produce modern music.
Led by producer Geoff Weber, students will learn session organization, recording techniques, MIDI programming, virtual instruments, beat creation, arrangement, editing, and workflow strategies that help transform ideas into fully realized songs. Geoff places a strong emphasis on creativity, helping students develop their own unique sound and approach to production.
By the end of this course, you'll have the confidence and practical experience to build productions from start to finish, work efficiently within Logic Pro, and bring your musical ideas to life.

Lesson 2: Navigating Your Project In Logic
Customize Logic Pro's workspace for maximum speed and efficiency.
Master tracks, project organization, tempo mapping, markers, and session navigation.
Set up audio and MIDI recording while managing instruments, sounds, and project assets.
Lesson 3: Logic Session Players, Loops, and Virtual Instruments
Unlock Logic's built-in tools for songwriting, beat-making, and music production.
Create drum patterns, arrangements, and musical ideas using virtual instruments.
Harness Session Players, Sampler, and Live Loops to spark creativity and workflow.
LESSON 4: AUDIO RECORDING
Learn professional audio recording techniques for vocals, instruments, and MIDI.
Configure low-latency recording sessions for maximum performance.
Master punch-ins, take management, and efficient recording workflows.
LESSON 5: EDITING
Edit audio and MIDI with professional speed and precision.

LESSON 8: INTERMEDIATE MIXING

LESSON 9: MASTERING & EXPORTS

LESSON 10: THE FINAL
Students will work independently in a 10-hour session to complete individualized music production projects under the guise of our instructor.
A Q&A with instructor to answer any questions and offer additional guidance for the set-up of home production rig or career goals in the music industry!
SUCCESSFUL Completion of course
At the end of our 10-lesson course, students earn a certificate of completion. But our real goal is to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to run your own home studio or navigate a professional one. Many of our students have gone on to build studios, work in pro recording facilities, and even land jobs at radio stations!

MORE INFORMATION
ELIGIBILITY: Anyone (beginner or intermediate) interested in learning music production within Logic Pro is eligible for this class.
REQUIREMENTS: Mac computer is required. Copy of Logic Pro (latest version - $200) is recommend so they can practice at home.
LENGTH: This is a 10-class (55 total hours) course that is delivered as a group or 1-on-1 instruction. 10 consecutive weeks: Nine of the classes are 5-hour lessons. The final class is a full day (10 hours) of practical.
PRICE: $5000 for 1-on-1 instruction. The tuition reflects a highly specialized curriculum, flexible schedule, dedicated studio time and personalized attention to the individual student. Ask about our payment plans!
TO REGISTER: We require a 50% deposit to reserve your seat. The balance is due by the start date of the course OR you can participate in our payment plan. There are no additional costs.
NEXT COURSE COUNTDOWN: 1-on-1 courses have “ongoing admissions” and can begin whenever you are ready. Scheduling is flexible for holidays.
