WHO’S IT FOR?
Passionate semi-beginners and those somewhat experienced but not yet satisfied with their skill level, who want to record professionally. If you’re serious about recording, you’ll want to meet with our audio instructors. They’ll go over the course with you as well as give great advice and guidance. WHO ARE THE INSTRUCTORS?
With decades of professional experience inside real studios as recording and mixing engineers, in addition to years of teaching (Full Sail, IADT, Recording Connection), our audio instructors will not only teach you what you should know and the tricks of the trade, they will always take the time to answer any questions you have and help ensure you can do what you’ve learned in the studio.
WHAT WILL I GET OUT OF IT?
The more passionate and dedicated you are to learning the art of sound recording, the more you will get out of it. Being an engineer is much more than just knowing your tools. By learning how key concepts work in the studio environment, you have the opportunity to become a knowledgeable and capable engineer. Get very valuable pointers and recommendations on what to do in the real world, including what kind of studio set-up, tools and equipment you may need to really get going on your own. Valuable studio experience is hard to come by or nonexistent for most aspiring engineers, and yet is VITAL for real success! In this 8-week course you will be in the studio for almost every session PLUS 2 BONUS FULL DAYS where you will be recording a band and mixing their song! Studios with entry-level positions look for two important factors when choosing who to bring on: passion and real studio experience. After this course, you can say you have both!
