Independent Artists, Musicians and Labels CAN have the same access to high-quality recording as Major Labels!

Every project is different, and at Clear Track no recordings sound “one in the same”.  With our expertise in getting every inch of magic out of Studio A, along with good production, you can achieve “your sound” according to your unique project.  Most importantly, there’s no making truly great recordings without both sides of the glass sharing the same passion for it.  We’re a musician’s studio, and we did not build Florida’s best sounding room just to hit a record button, sit back and count the clock.  It’s time you had the Clear Track experience!

While we record anyone from local professionals to the world-famous (John Legend, Jeff Berlin, Chick Corea, John Blackwell..), we also like to find ways for up-and-coming artists to record.  Our engineers and producers work in any genre, specializing in pop, any kind of rock (alt, indie, prog, etc….), country, blues and jazz, and do mainly drum or piano recording, full song production for solo artists and bands, live band recording, vocal recording, and SSL, digital or “hybrid” mixing.  You’re welcome to come see and hear the studios any day of the week (please call ahead to schedule).

As no corners were cut in it’s design, studio A rightfully “looks like a million bucks”–but that’s not what it costs to record here.  Studio A is here for the music, so that all involved in music-making can have an awesome experience making their favorite recordings and finished songs, work not only to be proud of, but that can help take a serious artist to the next level of their music career.

Record With The Best!

-Pro Tools HD 10 through SSL G+ (out of the Record Plant in Hollywood)
-Analog tape straight to digital! (Forget the hassle and cost of tape!)
-Neve, API…
-Classic mics (Neumanns, AKG…)
-Drums! (nearly 50 pieces of Yamaha, Mapex, Ludwig, Sonor, DW, Tama, Pearl…)
-Yamaha C6 Grand Piano
-A wall of guitars (Fender, Taylor, Ibenez, Gibson, Jackson…)
-Amps galore, including John Petrucci’s “Images and Words” Mesa Boogie

MONSTER Drums!

We specialize in the most difficult instrument to capture: the drums.  Rather than record drums in a treated office-room only to patch it up with the same old digital samples, you will record on a well-tuned, killer drum kit in a studio designed and built for drum sounds!  Does it get any better?  Actually, yes…when tracking to tape via our revolutionary tape-to-digital system (CLASP)!  It sounds so good we’ve decided all drums recorded here should go through analog tape as a standard!  What excuse does a band with a drummer have for using drum replacement?  Get in our A room for some monster drums and showcase your talent!

Clear Track is John Blackwell’s preferred drum studio, and will be yours, too!

No drummer?  We have very talented session drummers willing to lend any genre of rhythm.

Analog is BACK!!!

That full, rich, expressive sound of analog is no longer a thing of the past, with the revolutionary CLASP system (by Endless Analog), now setting the new standard in quality for this fast, digital recording age.  At Clear Track, artists can record on analog tape instantly into Pro Tools for digital editing!  Adele and the Foo Fighters both came out on top at the GRAMMYs, with 21 recorded via CLASP and Wasting Light recorded to tape on our same Studer model.  Why have plain digital when you can have the best of both worlds?

Need a commercially-releasable Single, EP or Album?  Make it your best!

Our unrivaled weekly rate includes studio A, engineer, all of our mics/gear, comfortable private lounge and analog tape-to-digital recording via CLASP!  We get a lot done in two days, let alone a week, so come in and talk to us about your project!

Every independent project has different needs, so we’ll have to understand these before we determine how to best get it done.  The easiest way to do this is by touring the studios.  We look forward to hearing about your project!

“Before coming to Clear Track Recording Studios we were hesitant about the ability to be creative in the cold studio environment. However, once arriving there and meeting with the staff, they made us feel like we were recording at home in our own living room. They handled the technical recording issues with great skill and allowed us, as artists, to be as creative as possible. Upon playback, we realized that they had captured the sound of the session just as we had envisioned. Overall, it was a great experience and we look forward to working with Clear Track Studios again.”
John Tschirhart, No End of Now

“Everyone who works at Clear Track were completely professional, mixed in with a healthy dose of kindness and helpfulness.  I got the best bass tone of my career.  Spencer is a guy with a work ethic and musical ears.  All in all, from a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give Clear Track an 11!”
Jeff Berlin, legend of the electric bass (album)

“Clear Track Recording Studios is the best recording environment we’ve ever had the opportunity to be in.  Clean, professional, unbelievable gear in impeccable working order, and the friendliest owner/operators you could imagine.  Can’t wait to get back in!”
Joel Davis, Ascend The Hill (studio rental for album)

“Had a great time. Mike was a great guy to work with and was a real stickler for detail.  Daniel and Mike are two of the nicest people I have ever had the privilege to work with in the studio.”
David Artis (mixing)

“I had a full blast, look forward to working together soon!  Spencer is the man + Mike + Kyle as well!!!”
Yadi, drummer, In His Reflection (live song recording)
